Preview: Rivalry Game!!! At the time of this Article the Buffalo Bills dismantled the New York Jets 31-3 behind 4 Sam Darnold Interceptions. The High Draft pick had a game, and a season to forget, however the Arm talent is their. The Bills with the win has kept their Wild Card spot secure, and will hope for a late season slump by the Patriots to over take them in the division.

 (9-3)       @           (5-7)

Preview: Rivalry Game!!!! The Washington Redskins season comes down to this game, and the Giants could pretty much clinch the NFC East with a win. The Skins have played well in the Recent weeks, and will look to get a much needed upset at home .

 (1-11)       @           (5-7)

Preview: Rivalry Game!!! The New Saints head coach has not shown well in the league so far, missing several games. A bad way to go in the worlds best league. Lets see if a Division rival gets his Juices flowing. The Buccaneers with a win still has an outside shot at the playoffs but winning this game is paramount.

(11-1)       @           (2-10)

Preview: Rivalry Game!!! The Miami Dolphins at home will look to redeem themselves after a distasteful end to a game in week 13. They are in the cross hairs of Tom Brady, and if they thought last week was tough wait until they get in the gauntlet with the Patriots!

Preview: The Baltimore Ravens are one of the leagues hottest teams winners of 6 of their last 7 games, and the game they lost a week ago was by 5. They take on the Chiefs in Arrowhead who after a solid start to the season has fallen all but out of playoff contention !

 (9-3)       @           (3-9)

Preview: Rivalry Game!!!! The Indianapolis 3 game losing streak could not have come at a worse time as the Jaguars are a mere game behind them now. With teams figuring out how to slow down their run attack Andrew Luck and the Colts passing offense has been a weakness.

 (11-1)       @           (7-5)

Preview: Easily one of the best match ups of the Weeks as the Bears could tie the Packers in the Division. They will take on the Rams who at 11-1 are still in a battle with the Seahawks in their division.

 (3-9)       @           (11-1)

 (0-12)       @           (2-10)

Preview: The Leagues most disappointing team has to be the San Francisco 49ers who came into the season with high hopes with Jimmy Garoppolo at the Quarterback position. However when you have 3 times as many interceptions as touchdowns a 2-10 record is the outcome!

 (2-10)       @           (2-10)

Preview: these two teams are playing for pride, draft picks, and evaluations. With no chance at the playoffs for either team it will behoove them to get their game in sooner, rather than later or get steam rolled.

 (3-9)       @           (7-5)

Preview: Rivalry Game!!!! Melblaze has never beated Raw_Diaw, and the Dallas Cowboys. look for it not to happen this week, as the Eagles propensity for the back breaking turnover could be accentuated against the Dallas Dominant front 4.

 (3-9)       @           (7-5)

Preview: The Cardinals are in a battle with the Cowboys for a wild card spot, and taking care of business at home against the 3 win lions should be a win. I say should be because these lions have been known to jump up and bite a few teams in the past.

 (7-5)       @           (8-4

Preview: The Raiders have all but won the Division in the AFC West with none of the teams seemingly stepping up to offer some resistance. They will take on a Steelers team who are hoping to hold onto one of the two WIld Card Spots.

 (5-7)       @           (11-1)

Preview: At the start of the year this game on Paper looked liked it could be one of the leagues best games, however with  the Dominance of the Seahawks and the mediocrity of the Vikings, this game has minor signifigance. The Vikings are looking to play spoiler however, and with nothing to lose they could throw a monkey wrench into the seahawks program!

ESPNEWS Race for the Playoffs AFC
ESPN Breaking News The NFASL Rookie Draft is still fast approaching as Season 1 is nearly into the playoffs. Get those Draft boards ready, and make sure you stay up to date here at the worlds greatest League Website!

On this edition of ESPNEWS We will focus in on the AFC and look at the standings for this conference, as yesterday we got an indepth look at the NFC. Unlike the NFC things are a lot more complicated in the AFC as this Conference has been a lot more competive. We still have the power house teams like the New England Patriots behind the right arm of Tom Brady, but the surprise Cleveland Browns with a Rookie Quarterback Baker Mayfield growing up right in front of our eyes. Other than those two teams who both have impressive 11-1 records, Things could not be more of a mess in this Conference as it seems that every single team has an outside chance at the Playoffs. There are 8 teams one, or two games behind in the conference. The Wild Car spots are pretty much up for grabs, and with only four games left in the Season it's going to be a mad dash to which team secures one of those coveted Spots. The most fierce competition is going on in the AFC South, as the Indianapolis Colts has hit a wall, and allowed both the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans back into the Divisional race. Without further adieu lets take a look at the conference.

AFC West:

  • Oakland Raiders 8-4, key remaining games: Steelers, Bengals, Broncos, Chiefs
  • Kansas City Chiefs 5-7 , Key remaining games: Ravens, Chargers, Seahawks, Raiders

Overview: The Raiders are 3 games ahead of the the Kansas City Chiefs in the Division, and with a week 13 win head to head over the Chiefs it's pretty much over. Plus it's no doubt the Chiefs have a much tougher schedule down the stretch. The one shining light however for the Chiefs is that they still have a punchers chance at making the Playoffs via the Wild Card. Their week 14 game against the Ravens is pretty much do or die, and will go a long way into determining if this season was a success or failure.

AFC North:

  • Cleveland Browns 11-1 , Key remaining games: Panthers, Broncos, Bengals, Ravens
  • Baltimore Ravens 8-4 , Key Remaining games: Chiefs, Buccaneers, Chargers, Browns
  • Pittsburgh Steelers 7-5 , Key Remaning games: Raiders, Patriots, Saints, Bengals

Overview: In the AFC North The upstart Cleveland Browns are running away with the Division with a 3 game lead over the Ravens, and a 4 game lead over the Steelers. The Browns with 3 of their last 4 games against teams who have no shot at making the playoffs pretty much means the Division is theirs. That is bad news for both the Ravens, and Steelers as you have two teams battling it out for the Wild Card Spot. The Steelers are in the same boat as the Ravens are against the Browns as the Ravens have 2 games against teams with no chance at the post season, where as the Steelers still have to play the Raiders, Patriots, two of the leagues toughest teams. if the Steelers take care of business they will have earned their spot in the Playoffs, if not better luck Next year.

AFC South:

  • Indianapolis Colts 9-3 , Key Remaining games: Texans, Cowboys, Giants, Titans
  • Jacksonville Jaguars 8-4 , Key Remaining Games: Titans, Redskins, Dolphins, Texans
  • Tennessee Titans 6-6 , Key remaining games: Dolphins, Jaguars, Giants, Redskins, Colts

Overview: The AFC South is an absolute toss up. As it stands right now the Indianapolis Colts has a 1 game lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a 3 game lead over the Titans. The Colts are mired in a slump as they have lost 3 of their last 4 games after starting the season out 8-0. The Slump could not have come at a worse time as the Jaguars look like a contender, however they have lost 2 out of their last 3 games. The Titans after an 0-6 start are now 6-6 and are on a meteoric rise and are still have an outside chance at winning the division, or at the very least grabbing one of the coveted Wild Card Spots.

AFC East:

  • New England Patriots 11-1 , Key Remaining Games: Dolphins, Steelers, Bills, Jets
  • Buffalo Bills 8-4, Key Remaining Games: Jets, Lions, Patriots, Dolphins

Overview: The AFC East is home to the Conferences best record, the New England Patriots, and unless a disaster happens the patriots have locked up the Division. The Most the Buffalo Bills can hope for is a Wild Card Spot which as of right now if the Playoffs started today, they would be in. However after having won Super Bowl XXVI it is only natrual for the Bills to have a let down. They have not been as dominant as we would have thought but it's no doubt if they make the playoffs they will be one of the most dangerous teams in them.

Playoff Seeding as of now:

  • New England Patriots - 11-1
  • Cleveland Browns - 11-1
  • Indianapolis Colts -9-3
  • Baltimore Ravens - 8-4
  • Buffalo Bills - 8-4 (Wildcard)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars - 8-4 (Wildcard)

ESPNEWS Race for the Playoffs NFC
ESPN Breaking News The NFASL post Season is fast approaching, which means the NFASL Draft is just around the corner. Make sure you stay up to date with all the Leagues information on the website in the coming weeks.

On this edition of ESPNEWS We will focus in on the NFC Race for the Playoffs. The NFC is Top heavy this year with several Teams only having one loss in week 13 of the season. As it stands right now the Atlanta Falcons are the only team that has won their division, and has clinched their playoff spot. The real battle for division supremacy is going on in the NFC West with 3 teams as it stands right now would represent the NFC in the playoffs. However the Los Angeles Rams, and the Seattle Seahawks are battling it out for the Division title. The Rams, and Seahawks have already split the season series, so what they do down the stretch against their up coming opponents will have all the meaning in the world. Sad part is one of these two teams will be on the road come playoff time as a Wild Card.

There are several teams in the NFC who still have an outside shot at making the playoffs however their chances are starting to get slimmer and slimmer. Those teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins, and Minnesota Vikings. Those teams not only have to overtake their Division Leaders, but also teams that are ahead of them in the Wild Card Race. Not an impossible task, but an improbable one as a few of these teams have much easier schedules down the stretch. In any regard lets take a look at the Divisions in the NFC, and see where a few teams stand..

NFC West:

  • Los Angeles Rams 11-1 Record, key remaining games: Bears, Eagles, Cardinals, 49ers
  • Seattle Seahawks 11-1 Record, key remaining games: Vikings, 49ers, Chiefs, Cardinals
  • Arizona Cardinals 7-5 Record, key remaining games: Lions, Falcons, Rams, Seahawks

Overview: The Los Angeles Rams have a slight lead in the Division over the Seattle Seahawks, but with both teams taking on two division rivals down the stretch it could make for a photo finish for the Division. The Rams are absolutely rolling having won 7 in a row, and a much needed win over the Seahawks a few weeks back. The Seahawks are winners of 3 in a row, and have been blowing the doors off opponents. The Wild Card in the Division, and the owner of one of the Wild Card spots for now is the Arizona Cardinals. After having loss in week 13, they are definitely in for the fight of their lives down the stretch  but have the Rams twice down the stretch.

NFC North:

  • Green Bay Packers 8-4 Record, key remaining games: Falcons, Bears, Jets, Lions
  • Chicago Bears 7-5 Record, key remaining games: Rams, Packers, 49ers, Vikings
  • Minnesota Vikings 5-7 Record, key remaining games: Seahawks, Dolphins, Lions, Bears

Overview: The NFC North has become a slobber Knocker recently after earlier it looked liked the Green Bay Packers were going to run away with the Division starting the season 7-0. At week 13, they have added one more win, and has lft the door wide open for both the Chicago Bears, and the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears coach are winners of 4 Super Bowls in the NFASL, and if you think any team didn't want the Bears in the Playoffs you would be sorely mistaken. The Week 15 game against the Packers will be the biggest game of the season for both teams, as that could be for the Division with the way things are looking. Don't count the Vikings out however as they have tough game against one of the leagues best in the Seattle Seahawks in week 14, howwever if they can manage to win that game they have the struggling Dolphins, and Lions in subsequent weeks, with a week 17 game against the Bears which could give them the Division title.

NFC South:

  • Atlanta Falcons 11-1 Key remaining games: Clinched Playoff spot

Overview: The Atlanta Falcons have made mince meat of the NFC South with their closest competitor being 6 games behind them. The Falcons are now trying to stay motivated for the Playoffs, and will try desperately to fight off rust as we head into the postseason.

NFC East:

  • New York Giants 9-3 Record, key remaining games: Redskins, Titans, Colts, Cowboys
  • Dallas Cowboys 6-5 Record, key remaining games: Saints, Eagles, Colts, Buccaneers, Giants
  • Washington Redskins 5-7 Record, key remaining games: Giants, Jaguars, Titans, Eagles

Overview: The Giants looked unbeatable early, but just like a few other teams have let a few teams creep back into the Division. The Dallas Cowboys are a mere 3 games behind, but can make it two with a week 13 win over the 1 win Saints. The Washington Redskins after an abysmal start to the season are looking for a miracle, and a continued win streak that has now reached 3 to carry them into the post season, at least as a Wild Card Spot. The Week 14 game against the hated New York Giants will be the final Call for the Redskins. They will have to pull out all the stops if they want to make the post season. They have used up all their chances, and nothing short of a 7 game win streak is going to get it done.

Playoff Seeding as of now:

  • Atlanta Falcons 11-1
  • Los Angeles Rams 11-1
  • New York Giants 9-3
  • Green Bay Packers 8-4
  • Seattle Seahawks 11-1 (Wildcard)
  • Arizona Cardinals 7-4 (Wildcard)

The Ravens used a youth Movement this game to win this match up. Lamar Jackson has shown why the Ravens drafted him, and moved on from Super Bowl Winning Quarterback Joe Flacco. The Future is now, and the Ravens look like they are here to stay.

The Baltimore Ravens find themselves still 2 games behind the Division leading Cleveland Browns, and will be rooting for a Bengals upset in week 12.   Seahawks Send Green Bay Packing!

Seattle, WA. In the NFASL Game of the Week 11, The Seattle Seahawks got back to their winning ways with a 28-14 win over the Aaron Rodgers lead Green Bay Packers. Seattle behind the right arm, and right leg of their all pro Quarterback Russell Wilson flexed their muscles in this game. Wilson threw for nearly 300 yards, and rushed for 100 accounting for 3 of the Seahawks scores. With Wilson playing lights out Aaron Rodgers tried to match him throw for throw. The Packers were able to move the ball up and down the field against the Vaunted Legion of Boom 2.0, however they closed the door in the Redzone. Aaron Rodgers threw for 254 yards but was unable the ball into the endzone on several chances.

These two teams were evenly matched, as they both had 13 first downs, and only 1 minute separated them in the time of possession. The Defense, and the razzle Dazzle of Wilson was the Difference in this game. It will be safe to say that both these teams will be in the playoffs, and we could be in for a treat if they were to meet up sometime later in this year.

The Seattle Seahawks are still on top of the NFC West, and will take on the struggling Carolina Panthers and their all pro Quarterback Cam Newton. The Packers however are reeling after having lost 3 in a row, and will look to stop the bleeding against their Division rival the Minnesota Vikings.  Until Next time this has been a Sim Athletics Network Production.

  NFASL Instant Classic!

Agoura Hills, CA. In the NFASL Game of the Week 10, in what many believe would be a preview of the NFC Title Game the Jared Goff, and the Los Angeles Rams held off the previously undefeated Seattle Seahawks 21-20. When the Networks take a look at the schedule, and with a previously slotted game of Falcons vs Browns. Not a bad game within itself; to have them knocked off, you know this one was something special. The Los Angeles Rams for the second time in primetime this year put a "L" in the win/loss column of a undefeated team. From the looks of things this Rams teams is built for post season success, as well as stocked for years as they have a young nucleus with Jared Goff, and Todd Gurley II leading the way.   Goff had full command of the Rams offense throwing for 219 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Putting up a 145.6 Quarterback rating and a 70% completion percentage. Goff outdueled Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson, who had a good game himself, however he was sacked 7 times by the Rams Relentless Pass rush.

The Rams D-line is the stuff of nightmares for opposing quarterbacks, and could be one of the Main reasons they are favored to win the Super Bowl this year. When you are able to get that much pressure, while still playing cover defense they will be hard to beat.

The Seattle Seahawks fell from the ranks of the undefeated, and look to get back on track against another great Quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers. The Los Angeles Rams will take on the AFC West's Kansas City Chiefs, and look to extend their slight lead in the NFC West.  Until Next time this has been a Sim Athletics Network Production.
