National Football All Sim League

of the NFASL!

        On this edition of ESPNEWS Commissioner Newmoon will speak about the state of the league the National Football All Simulation League (NFASL) in it's Now 37th Season of Madden.

      Every year a new Madden comes out with a new sense of optimism, and hope, and guess what this year is no different. Madden 21 has been released worldwide on August 28th, 2020, and the League will officially Kick off on September 4th, 2020 @ 6am EST.  This Madden will be unlike any other that I can remember as we have the most new members that I can ever recall joining in one off-season. Those member are;

         Every single one of these members have been vetted by me, and are not only good players, but good people. In the 9 years of running this league, I learned a few lessons along the way, and these new members are an accumulation of those lessons.

         This should be the best season ever with major things happening in the League, IE; With SportIVation getting better with every episode, and Tomman trying to produce NFASL Weekly. The NFASL Weekly is a Podcast discussing the league, games, who's hot, who's not, featuring guests, etc...  JD's Sports book now in it's second Madden season which was a rousing success, to Shooters absolute zero contribution and it's starting to feel a lot like Madden season!  Also how can I forget to mention Discord! Goddamn I love the order of that App! My prowess on photoshop is getting exceedingly better daily, and the ability to write stories on the go, along with top notch graphics really helps set this league apart from the dreck that is out there. 

      The New Advancement schedule should make a few of you happy as we are finally going to a 48 hour advancement period. I could not figure out a way to make 48 works for what I need to do, but came up with a sneaky way to help me, while keeping the league moving. I moved the advancement period to 6am est instead of 8pm est. which allows me to create graphics ahead of time because I always know when we are advancing, and gives a grace period in the morning to look over the stats, write articles, etc....

       In Closing I want to say I'm glad you guys have continued on with the League, and expect this season to be the best one yet! I have always said that the NFASL is a symbiotic society, and it only works if we all work together in unison. At the bottom of the page are all 36 past Super Bowl winners. Some of those former champion even though they are forever etched into the Hall of Champions couldn't figure out how to maintain a spot in the Worlds greatest league! Doesn't matter how good you are if your entire gameplan can be found with a couple keystrokes on YouTube, if you're difficult to communicate with, if you're anbutthead in the chat stealing any fun that could be had in the league, to not following the most basic of rules, etc... I can't not stress this enough. Nothing in your life changes if you win it all, so why not just play for the love.

     Also make sure you guys save those Soda cans, as the PS5 drops this year, and I think 1 or 2 of us will have to sell a kidney to get it!    I want to turn the floor over to my two Co-Commissioners, which are The-Kiid-Kenny, NFC Commissioner, and the NFC Commissioner Jady_Tru. If you have a problem with something in the league, and you are in either conference they will be more than helpful in sorting out your needs.

• JD-  Most of y'all already know how I,  and the NFC feels about the AFC. We feel you guys dish out more cheese than your local Olive Garden but that is neither here nor there. Moon has told me to be the AFC commissioner and with that I have to put my NFC bias aside and look at things fairly. And in all honesty yall kicked ourbutt last year, winning the superbowl battle 5-2. Since I have been here I've never seen a turnover quite like this in one off-season. 3 of the 5 superbowl winners from a madden ago are no longer here. As much as I dread drastic turnover, I got to admit this is going to make this Madden very interesting because I don't know who will be going into the Hall of Champions. 6 time SB winner Tommanowns is the clear favorite with his Baltimore Ravens led by Lamar Jackson, the closest thing to Madden 07 Michael Vic we have had. But outside of that it is wide open and I look forward to you guys battling it out. There are new NFASL members in the AFC using the Titans, Browns, Chargers, Texans. You guys can dm if you have any questions or ask other members around the league. I know it looks like a lot of rules but it's not as much as it seems. It basically comes down to just play simulation football: switch up your plays, punt when necessary and don't bring anything you learned from a MUT stream into the league. You follow those things along with contacting your opponent in a timely manner and you should be fine.

• Shooter - First and foremost I would like to welcome the 9 new members to the best league madden has ever seen, the NFASL! This should be a fun Season, and year  as we wait on Next Gen to arrive. Once again my division is as easy as can be especially when you have the same 2 oldest people in the lg by about 50 years in your division. I expect this season to be fun I expect to lose in the first round of the playoffs again and I expect moon to be as bad as the actual Washington football team. I hope everyone has a great season and everyone has fun and just remember you won’t find a better lg ... if you do then KYS !
