National Football All Sim League

of the NFASL! 

        On this edition of ESPNEWS Commissioner Newmoon will speak about the state of the league the National Football All Simulation League (NFASL) in it's Now 41st season of Madden.

      We are at the halfway point of Madden 21 on the PS4/PS5 with things running smoothly with the help of my Two Lieutenants Coach THE-KiiD-Kenny (Shooter), and The--BEST-EVER-2 (JD). We are now at season 5 on our way to season 10 which will be the final season on Madden 21. There are several things happening in the league that I think will change the league for the better. Making it harder to complete Development for players is one of those things. Starting this season we have implemented the a Interception to Touchdown Ratio that will cause you to lose development for your players. It will be as follows; 

• 3:1 ratio simply put for every 3 interceptions to 1 Touchdown you will lose a development to your starting QB. It will be an accumulation of your teams Interceptions not just your starting QB. Benching your starter and still throwing the ball around like it's going out of style will not save you from the axe. 
• These changes will effect players before they are traded so buyer beware
• In Season 6 we will be even more stringent changing the metric from 3:1, to 2:1 meaning taking care of the ball will be ever more important. 
• This Rule has been put in place to balance out the leagues stats, and to stop guys for playing for Developments unnaturally. 
• The Penalties will be as such; once your Quarterback is stripped of Development upgrades, and they are normal we will start with the highest Wide Receiver on your team, Tight End, Running Back, Offensive Lineman, etc.... 

 Cool Down

 I know that some of you have wanted me to implement the Cool Down rule, however I can't in good conscious call this a Sim League if you can't do the most basic of Football fundamentals. I do like the idea of a cool down, but not as it is implemented. Not being able to call a HB Dive back to back, or a simple 2 man under Defense back to back is utterly ridiculous. I'm also not dumb enough to know that members are not taking advantage of the Rules in the league that no Defense can call the same defense 3 plays in a row. That does not mean that you can just rotate to 2 defenses all game, as the rule is just a baseline. I want you members to police yourselves so that I don't have to.

Rewards for winning

Coach PapaLon24 has graciously offered to give a free year of PSPLUS for the Winner of Super Bowl XLI, and I believe gave a 3 month subscription to Tommanowns for winning Super Bowl XL. As much as I appreciate it, this goes against the very nature of the league. We play for the love of sport, not for winning prizes. I feel as though once you start playing for money, or prizes that changes things. Community, Sport, Competition, and Bragging rights should only ever be our motive for the Worlds Greatest League in History. So Papalon24, and Kaliko_420 every now and again it's cool, but lets not make it a thing =) .

• JD-   Through the halfway point I’ve loved the competitiveness of the league. I like how guys are making progression

 in their game season after season. There is no easy schedules which makes games fun to watch and the playoff races really tight. Also helps things be fun like sportsbook. One thing we got to to work on is realizing how our actions affect the league down the road. Its been a fun madden so far lets keep it up!

• Shooter - First and foremost you all suck! I am as about as useless as a commissioner, as I am at playing Madden. 

Moon is a better more complete man than me. In fact I wouldn't even call myself a man as I don't deserve the title. Moon has created the Cylce of Kenny, and I'll be damned if it isn't the best article ever constructed save for the Constitution of the United States of America. Hell if I were being honest I would say the Cyle of Kenny should now be the official document of this unified nation.  I have been here in the league for approximately 7 years, and even though I am one of the most senior members in the league I have not come close to winning a Super Bowl, or even participating in one. We are closer to the moon than I am at winning a Championship in this league. All you can eat contest are another story as I am the undisputed Champion of the world in that.

Team Statistics: In the NFL the teams with the best stats normally have the best seasons. This year is no different. It takes every aspect of a team to win games, and while you can have one do well and not the other  over a full season it will show and prove in your final win loss record. So far the tops in the league are those we are about to show here. Let's take a look.
