JDís 1st Half All-Pro Team

† † † † †Half the season is wrapped up and the offense has dominated so far. There are so many players to choose from that have been ballin out this season but I narrowed it down to this group of guys who have put their offense on their shoulder pads. Dehaun Watson is having a season for the record books, literally, he is on pace to throw for the most yards ever in a single season. His performance makes the other qbs look like they are having a down year. Rookie Rondale Moore is flying all over the field and is the front runner for ROY. Todd Gurley and Saquon Barkley are neck and neck for the rushing grown this season as Gurley wants to make sure fans know how good he is after Saquon dominated the league last season.†

Preview: Game of week!!! Rivalry Game!!!!† ††What happens when power meets finesse? Well we are about to find out. The ground and pound Bengals go into Charm City to face the flash on grass Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens trio of Lamar Jackson, Anthony McFarland, and Hollywood Brown have speed unmatched and rarely if ever seen. The Bengals are hoping that a heavy dose of Joe Mixon can keep them on the sideline for long stints of time. The Bengals have come out hitting teams in the mouth with the strategy of 'you can't score if you don't have the ball.' Time control offense has helped this defense only give up a, 85' Bears Defense type stat, of 6ppg. When they are on the field, they go right for the ball forcing 5 fumbles already. Look for them to try to make Lamar pay for running out of the pocket and laying a hat on Hollywood Brown whenever he catches it. The Ravens are averaging a staggering 59 PPG for a reason, they are going to try to turn this into a track meet and just like Usain Bolt in the Olympics, you won't beat them in that race. Somethings got to give in this game, so I ask again, what happens when power meets finesse?†

(1-3)†††† †@†††††††††† (1-3)
Preview:†Too early to say this game is for both teams' season? Maybe so, but I am anyway. Both teams need to win this game, the chances of coming back from 1-4 aren't high at all. Both these teams have the same problem, they turn the ball over more than they take it away. This game will be more about who doesnít lose the game as much as it is about who won it. The team that doesn't hurt themselves most likely will be 2-3 when the clock hits 0. Some defense would also go a long way as both teams haven't been able to get enough stops giving up 32 PPG each.

(0-3)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)
Preview:After a 38-34 loss in week 1 to the Ravens which is very respectable, the Broncos made a move to get rid of their young QB Jordan Love and young stud WR Jerry Judy. This left Broncos fans scratching their heads and calling for a new GM. Post trade they have been outscored 66-19. A promising start for the Broncos now looks like the road to the abyss. The Chiefs look like they are still sleep walking after not being contested in the AFC West last season it feels like they are just coasting to the playoffs. Dangerous game trying to flip the switch all of a sudden sometimes you flip it and no lights come on. Starting off 2-2 might have been the wakeup they needed.

(0-3)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)
Preview:The only thing consistent about the Raiders is that they are inconsistent. Will you get the team that started 7-0 last season or the team that finished that same season 1-8? Fitting they started off 2-2 this season so we still don't know, but with a favorable schedule coming up look for the Raiders to be in the mix. This will be a good time for their defense to get on the same page because it hasn't look great or even good. The Chargers are in panic mode and have to win these 2 divisional games or else they might as well look towards the draft. They need Melvin Gordon to get loose and that very talented secondary to make some plays.

(1-3)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)
Preview:The Colts are staggering right now after getting a haymaker from the Texans last week. Good news for them is they are facing a Jets team that also got a haymaker by the Saints. Letís see which team can bounce back faster in this game. Both teams need to establish their RB's early and get the chains moving. Whoever wins the 1st quarter will win this game.††

(1-3)†††† †@†††††††††† (3-1)
Preview:The Buccaneers are picking up where they left off last season but in a different way. Last year their offense was one of the top air raids in the league. Now itís a passing attack that looks mediocre at best which is not what you expect when you add generational talent Julio Jones. It could be a case of trying to figure out how to fit in the big new piece or that Julio and Mike Evans just can't coexist which is hard to believe. Whatever it is, Mike Evans and OJ Howard need to get more involved as they are hovering around a lowly 100 yards TOTAL for the season. We will see how Coach Dino figures it all out. Much better to be 3-1 figuring out things than 1-3 so props to the Buccs for finding a way to win. Speaking of winning that is something that the Eagles have not been doing much of. After a week 1 win that had Eagles fans hopeful that they were on the right track, the Eagles have proceeded to lose 3 in a row by a combined score of 92-41.†

(2-2)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)

Preview:The Cardinals are going into this game against the reigning champs, absolutely shell shocked. They blew a 28-3 lead vs the Panthers last week and would have been tied with the Rams at 3-1 but now thatís not the case. Instead they staring down the barrel at 2-3 and we will see how they can bounce back. Murray has only been sacked 11 times this season which is a lot better than last season, the Oline will need to keep that up vs a Jaguars team that is known for bringing the heat. Hard to judge the Jags as just like most teams that win the SB, they are going through a SB hangover. They still haven't actually won the AFC South yet and don't want to let the Texans get too big of a lead before they snap out of it.† †

(1-2)†††† †@†††††††††† (4-0)
Preview:Jacoby Brissett of the Chicago Bears is on fire to start the season as new additions Tarik Cohen and Rondale Moore have given the offense speed and playmaking that it just didn't have before. The defense has taken a slight step back so far this season but remain in the top 5 of the league. The Lions defense have been playing good enough to win only giving up 18 PPG a game but they are going to need help from the offense at some point. After drafting Trevor Lawrence at number 1 a lot was expected from this offense but they might be needing to trade for more weapons to give the rookie QB.†

(1-2)†††† †@†††††††††† (0-4)
Preview:After a much-needed bye week the Packers should be ready to get back on track. That track is laid out with big speed bumps though as they have a brutal stretch of games coming up. The key for them will be a balanced attack on offense and getting Baker some easy throws. He is only completing 51 percent of his passes bringing into question trading Devante Adams. The defense has been good but have been put in bad spots by the offense so the Packers will need to figure out how to sustain drives but they better figure it out quickly. The Vikings have been getting beaten by record margins this season leaving Vikings fans thinking this might not be the right coach for the job. Even if they lose, they have to start showing a level of pride starting this week.

(2-2)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)
Preview:†The Panthers are coming into this game with a ton of momentum after that season saving comeback vs the Cardinals. The Falcons on the other hand are coming in after a tough loss to the Patriots. The fact that they have beaten the Panthers 4 straight times should boost their confidence. Whenever there is a game that decides if you will go above .500 or below it has a level of importance and then add on this is a divisional game and you get a game that as far as early season games go, is pretty damn important. The Falcons have had a top tier defense in the league the last 2 seasons but their offense is trailing far behind. They haven't been able to establish an identity on offense. So far going to Zac Thomas at QB hasn't paid off. Falcons need to figure out something they can hang their hat on offense or else the defensive efforts will be wasted. The Panthers have been solid on both ends of the ball. Turning the ball over is what has gotten in their way. If they can hang onto the ball look for them to be a playoff contender.

(3-1)†††† †@†††††††††† (2-2)
Preview:†If teams had theme songs this game would Itís Raining Men (Rams) vs Stayin Alive (Washington). Stayin Alive is exactly what Washington just did last week against the Chiefs. With 2 nightmarish games against their rival New York Giants, people were ready to write them off but they answered the criticism with giving the ball to Guice and he carried them to a win with help from a secondary that picked Maholmes off 5 times. Washington is far from out the woods though as they host a Rams team that has found their mojo on offense. The concern for the Rams is that it seems their defense that took a step forward last season has taken 2 steps back. They will need to fix that if they are going to get to the SB but for now, they can just win a shootout if need be. Look for Washington to try to duplicate the same strategy as last week.

(0-4)†††† †@†††††††††† (3-1)
Preview:These 2 teams are not where you would expect them to be. The Seahawks after reaching the playoffs last season were supposed to take that next step. It hasnít turned out that way, offense canít hold onto the ball or score. Defense canít get stops. Itís been bad all the way around. With a chance to save their season last week vs the 49ers, Russell Wilson couldnít lead them to a late score. The Seahawks season is in the coffin with a loss here to the Cowboys that would be the nail. The Cowboys are playing good football on both sides, with just 1 hiccup vs the Buccs last week. They have a good chance here to get a win and 4-1 to start which after the season they had last year would be a big step. The Cowboys need to figure out how to get Ezekiel Elliot going if they are going to have sustained success.

(1-2)†††† †@†††††††††† (1-2)
Preview:The Browns started this season looking like one of the worst teams in the league. After a convincing win vs the Packers, things look differently. Beating the Steelers would put them at 2-2 and with the 31st ranked defense things could be worse. Fans looked at them sideways when they traded Backer Mayfield and rolled with the older Cam Newton but best way to silence the critics is winning. A favorable schedule after the Steelers can have them looking good and momentum right into a rematch with the Ravens. The Steelers passing game hasnít been able to compliment their running game. They have their offensive identity but canít figure out how to play off of it. Rookie QB or not the Steelers will have to figure out how to make timely throws if they want to avoid going down 1-4.

(3-1)†††† †@†††††††††† (4-0)
Preview:This a matchup fans will have their eyes on as two gunslinging offenses go toe to toe. Not only do these 2 teams put on an air show but they also play defense too resulting in being two of the more dominant teams in the league so far. Inside the matchup you will want to watch shutdown corner Stephon Gilmore vs a guy that can catch any pass and will go up and get it in DeAndre Hopkins. That matchup should be physical and could go along way in determining the winner here. The concern for the Patriots is that they have been not great against the pass and Deshaun looks the best he ever has to start this season under new coach Dylan Dada. Iím excited to see how this game unfolds. ††††††††††

JD's Season Preview

† † † † †

† † † † † The†NFASL is entering season 3 with the Ravens and Jaguars winning the first 2 Superbowlís. After a string of seasons with the NFC team winning it all, the AFC has made a statement early this madden that they are the stronger conference. The all-time Superbowl wins for each conference is 17-14 in favor of the NFC, if this trend continues the AFC will be tying that up this Madden.† Season 3 has been known to separate the contenders from the pretenders with every team having 2 off-seasons to improve their roster and their play. With that being said, let's take a look inside each conference.

AFC North:

Comissioners JD's Prediction

  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (Wildcard)
  • Cincinatti Bengals
  • Cleveland Browns

†The†Steelers almost stole the division last season with it coming down to the final weeks. The Ravens and Steelers are still the class of this division but the Bengals and Browns look to change things up. The Ravens trio of Jackson, Brown and McFarland will be too much this season for many teams in the league while the Steelers switched qbs after drafting Clifford and benching Lock. Last season the defense was top 2 in the league but the offense had a hard time getting things going. With the Ravens young core progressing and the Steelers starting over at qb this division looks like the Ravens to lose. The Browns also switched qbs in one of the most shocking trades of the offseason getting rid of their former number 1 pick Baker Mayfield to the Packers and rolling with veteran Cam Newton. Time will tell if that was a good move but either way itís going to be a challenge to win the AFC North, which can be the best division in the league this year. The Bengals have been gnawing at being a playoff team for the last couple seasons, they are in close games but havenít been able to get over that hump.

AFC West:

Comissioners JD's Prediction

  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Denver Broncos
  • Oakland Raiders†
  • San Diego Chargers†

††††† Overview: This division is one of the tougher divisions in the league with the Chiefs leading the way. The Chiefs are simply a Superbowl or bust team. The trio of Maholmes, Hill and Kelce is a lot for teams to handle. They were a game away from making the Superbowl last year and after falling short last 2 seasons expect a driven Chiefs team. Broncos are right on the cusp of being a playoff caliber team and adding the speedy Matt Breida it could give them the balance on offense they needed. The most surprising season went to the Raiders, after starting off hot they absolutely collapsed. The question is was their 2nd half of the season the exception or the new norm. They added some pieces and need to get better in the trenches especially stopping the run. The Chargers are going the wrong way, they havenít been able to put a full season together and with questions at qb I donít know if itís going to happen this year either.

AFC South:

Comissioners JD's Prediction

  • Houston†Texans
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (Wildcard)
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Tennessee Titans

††††† Overview: The AFC South where the reigning Superbowl champion Jaguars reside. Picking the Jaguars to not win the division could be looked as disrespectful but keep in mind they came into the playoffs last season as the 6th seed. The Texans are the most well-rounded team in this division and are expected to make some noise this season after already changing coaches 3 times. The Jaguars have a big question mark at QB and will rely on the ground and pound as usual. Their blitz schemes caught a lot of teams by surprise last year as they led the league in sacks we will see if it has the same success this year. The Colts are an interesting team because you never know what you are going to get from them. They added Mitch Tribusky and Derrick Henry this off-season after making it to the divisional round last season. Expect a lot of touches for Henry and a ball control offense. The Titans switched coaches this offseason and the new coach MRT got off to a good start by having a good draft. He has been out of the league for a bit so expect rust to be a factor and for it to take a season to get going.†

AFC East:

Comissioners JD's Prediction

  • New England Patriots
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Miami Dolphins
  • New York Jets†

† † ††Overview: The Patriots came out the gates 2-4 last season but ended up finishing the season as the NFLís hottest team and grab the 3rd seed. They lost a close one to the eventual Superbowl champs but with another season of growth under young Qb Jake Frommís belt expect them to pick up where they left off. Their offense is able to be balanced with star rb Nick Chubb and a strong collection of wrs including newly added Wr Chris Godwin. The Bills were up and down last season, starting off good then fading as the season went on. They didnít add much in the off-season and the collection of talent just isnít great. They are in danger of being passed up by the up and coming Dolphins who have been right there in games of late. When their young players develop and they can give Tua time they can possibly have a few division titles in their future. The Jets drafted WR Justyn Ross which should give their offense more firepower alongside Alshon Jeffery, Robby Anderson and LeíVeon Bell. Not enough evidence of a complete 180 for the Jets and Iíd be surprised if it did this season.†

† † † † †

NFC North:

  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Green Bay Packers
  • Minnesota Vikings

††††††Overview:The North title has been split the first 2 seasons between the Packers and Bears. The North had an interesting off-season with some new stars coming in, Packers added Baker Mayfield, Lions drafted Trevor Lawrence and the Bears drafted Rondale Moore. Trevor Lawrence is a once in a generation qb and the Lions will play with some swag as they know they now have one of those guys that is a franchise changer. Expect the North to beat up on each other and for it to be close. The Packers took a step back last year and missed the playoffs, feeling it was time to move on from all-time great Aaron Rodgers they traded for Baker Mayfield and got him a deep threat in Marquise Goodwin. If the Packers can continue to run like last season they should be right there in playoff contention at the end of the season. The Vikings started off the first season not too bad at 7-7 but since have absolutely went downhill. They havenít been able to find any sort of identity for their team. The Bears lost a tough game to the 49ers last season and decided to shake it up by trading for Jacoby Brissett and drafting Rondale Moore. They were lacking on the passing game last season and Moore along with the return of Cohen should help make

NFC West:

  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Los Angeles Rams (Wildcard)
  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Seattle Seahawks

††††† Overview: The 49ers have owned the NFC West so far the first 2 seasons. Coach Kaliko had his 4th kid recently as the Rams, Cardinals and Seahawks are his 3 other sons. The Rams are getting close to competing as their defense really took a step up last year but the offense took a step back. The Cardinals have had to make a roster overhaul to get the team ready to compete but it seems that they should be competitive this year and be a real threat next season. It all starts with protecting Qb Kyler Murray who has not had enough time to make plays throwing to a talented wr group. This division had 3 representatives in the playoffs last season, which is really impressive. The Seahawks didnít do enough in the offseason to keep up with the Rams and 49ers and if you donít progress it means you regressed. Even after making the Superbowl and being dominant the last 2 seasons the 49ers felt it was time to bench Jimmy G and go with Ohio State standout Justin Fields. This feels like when the 49ers bench Alex Smith for Colin Kaepernick. The mobility of Fields opens up more plays for this offense. Coach Kaliko said he wasnít expecting Fields to fall to them but when he did, he couldnít pass up on a generational qb.

NFC South:

  • New Orleans Saints
  • Atlanta Falcons (Wildcard)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Carolina Panthers

††††† Overview: This is another tough division that saw the Saints win the 1st season and the Buccaneers win the 2nd. The Buccaneers overachieved last season credit to Coach Dino Hontos. They had success in the air and added Julio Jones in the offseason to pair up with Mike Evans which could be the best duo in the league. Add OJ Howard to that and you have a passing game that will have Dbs panicking. With that being said, look for the Saints to take back this division as they have the most balanced team. The big question for them is the qb position. Jalen Hurst has had a season to progress but let's see if that's enough. If the answer is yes than the Saints can be the best team in the NFC. The Falcons butter their cornbread on defense especially pass defense. They are fast all over the field and their secondary makes plays. If the offense can score enough and not turn it over the Falcons can be a live threat this season. The Panthers are having a hard time finishing games they are hanging around and even leading sometimes but canít close the deal. In a division like this you canít afford to give away games and until that gets corrected they will have a hard time making noise. With a young coach and a qb look for them to get going more next season.

NFC East:

  • New York Giants
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Washington Redskins
  • Philadelphia Eagles

† † †Overview: The NFC East was the NFC Least last season with the Giants running away with it. Saquon Barkley is the beast of the East as he was a problem that no one could solve, winning MVP and running his way into history. With teams whole game plan set to stop Barkley, the Giants will need something out of number 6 overall pick Daniel Jones. This Giants team didnít get any better this offseason and winning the division is likely the farthest they can go this season. The Redskins had a hell of a draft but need to see more consistency out of Dwayne Haskins. His accuracy on throws down the field were not great and stifled this offense. The Cowboys have had the talent but the execution was lacking the last 2 seasons. With Jerry Jones putting the heat on Coach Raw Diaw to get some wins look for the Cowboys to improve into being a playoff contender. The only coach to have fans scratching their heads on how they still have their job, even more so than the Marvin Lewis era, is coach Melblaze. There have been tons of conspiracy theories about this coach from he is related to the commissioner to he has pictures on the commissioner so that's why his job is always safe. Melblaze point differential was lower last season than the 1st season but after a 3-30 start, Eagles fans arenít trying to hear it. The Eagles had a slew of picks this past draft so the team should still be up there in talent.

NFASL Kickoff Game

††††††††The NFASL is Back!!!!! The New Season is upon us, and right now there are 32 teams all feeling like they†have, a chance at winning the Next big game. Of course we all know that in the end there is only one team, that gets to hang their banner in the prestigious Hall of Champions. Last season it was none other than the Jacksonville Jaguars! Their headcoach ThePacificCowboy hung his first banner, and he could not be more proud of his franchise. That was last season however, and we are now in Season XXXII! Saquon Barkley the Leagues MVP will look to Duplicate his historic season. Offensive Rookies of the Year in the AFC/NFC will look to avoid the Sophomore Slumps. The League will be looking to the future with Tom Brady retiring, so players like Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, and Russell Wilson, etc.... will be looking to take over the mantle. Rookies Trevor Lawrence, and Justin Fields will try to make their mark in the league. It's an exciting time in Football as right now the world is all our oysters, and no one knows who will win at the end of the night. Once again we tip our hats to the Jaguars, who begins their title defense against the hated Houston Texans. Good luck to all, and let's have a great season as usual!.

#1 Pick in the Draft Trevor Lawrence took on a Super Bowl Contender the Los Angeles Rams. it looks like the Lions will be set for years as Lawrence conducted himself well as he stood toe to toe against all pro Jared Goff as the Lions won the game 19-13. Lawrence was 17-24 for 223 yards, 1td, and no interceptions in his debut. He also got help from Kerryon Johnson who rushed for 62yards, an a td in the win. Travis Fulgham was his favorite Target as he hauled in 8 passes for 117yards, and a touchdown. In a Division with the Bears, and Packers getting a win in week 1 against a quality team will be huge own the stretch.

The Rams played well in the loss with Jared Goff throwing the ball 35 times. Goff put up 286yards, but only managed 1 touchdown in the game. Todd Gurley was unable to get into the endzone with a dominant performance on the ground as he rushed 19 times for 108yards. At 0-1, and the Niners making it to the Super Bowl in coming from the NFC West, the Rams headcoach was none to pleased with the loss.

The Lions will take on another NFC West team as they take on Justin Fields, and the San Francisco 49ers in week 2. The Rams will try to get back on track as they take on the Indianapolis Colts, and their new Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.

JDís Prediction

  1. Texans
  2. Jaguars (Wildcard)
  3. Colts
  4. Titans

The AFC South where the reigning Superbowl champion Jaguars reside.

AFC West

JDís Predictions

  1. Chiefs
  2. Broncos
  3. Raiders
  4. Chargers

This division is one of the tougher divisions in the league with the Chiefs leading the way. They do still have a defense capable of being one of the better ones in the league led by a good group of corners.†

AFC North

JDís Predictions

  1. Ravens
  2. Steelers (Wildcard)
  3. Bengals
  4. Browns

Steelers almost stole the division last season with it coming down to the final weeks. This season winning their division games will be huge, with the progression in talent eventually they are going to get over that hurdle.

NFC West

JDís Predictions

  1. 49ers
  2. Rams (Wildcard)
  3. Cardinals
  4. Seahawks

†† †The 49ers have owned the NFC West so far the first 2 seasons. Coach Kaliko said he wasnít expecting Fields to fall to them but when he did, he couldnít pass up on a generational qb.†

NFC South

JDís Predictions

  1. Saints
  2. Falcons (Wildcard)
  3. Buccaneers
  4. Panthers

†† †This is another tough division that saw the Saints win the 1st season and the Buccaneers win the 2nd. With a young coach and a qb look for them to get going more next season.†

NFC East

JDís Predictions

  1. Giants
  2. Cowboys†
  3. Redskins
  4. Eagles

†† †The NFC East was the NFC Least last season with the Giants running away with it. The Eagles had a slew of picks this past draft so the team should still be up there in talent.†

NFCNorth

JDís Predictions

  1. Bears
  2. Lions
  3. Packers
  4. Vikings

†† †The North title has been split the first 2 seasons between the Packers and Bears. They were lacking on the passing game last season and Moore along with the return of Cohen should help make plays.††

The Jaguars are top Cats!

†††††††††††Super Bowl†XXXI†Tampa, FL.†In the†NFASL Super Bowl XXXI, The Jacksonville Jaguars†did the improbable winning from the Wild Card round and becoming the 2020 World Champions defeating the San Francisco 49ers 34-24! The Jaguars Halfback Leonard Fournette took MVP Honors running around, over, and through niners defenders to the tune of 190yards, 2 touchdowns, on 21 attempts. The Jaguars Started in the Wildcard round defeating 1 time Champ ATK, and the Patriots 14-13. In the Divisional Round the Jaguars had their hands full with the Tommanowns, and the Baltimore Ravens who has 5 banners waving in the Hall of Champions 28-14. In the Conference Championship The highly favored, highly explosive Kansas City Chiefs coached by CapnKlutch was taken on and easily dispatched 40-24. The Jaguars went on a run for the ages, and it all culiminated in the worlds biggest game the Super Bowl!† The Jaguars were simply dominant winning in almost every aspect to include of course the final score. They outgained the Niners 398, to 282. Out Rushed the Niners 191, to 116. The Jaguars had more passing yards 207, to 166. The Jaguars were clicking on all cylinders at just the right time. 9 year Veteran Nick Foles had a 108.0 QBR, 223yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception in the win. D.J. Chark jr took the top of the Defense with a 74yard catch and run that resulted in a touchdown. On Defense the Jaguars got 9 tackles from LOLB Leon Jacobs. MLB Telvin Smith grabbed the only interception for the Jaguars, and Vic Beasley Jr., Ronnie Harrison, Yannick Ngakoue, Taven Bryan all got in on the sack party.††

† On Offense the Jaguars gameplan was simple give the Ball to Fournette, watch him work, and reap the Benefits. Nick Foles played game manager with short timely throws, and occasionally taking the top off the defense. With all the New Fangled offenses, a Strong Run Game, and stout Defense lead by Super Star Corner Back Jalen Ramsey has once again won the biggest game..†

The San Francisco 49ers will have to wonder what could have been as their coach Kaliko_420 would have loved nothing more than hanging his 3rd banner in the Hall of Champions. The best laid plans however don't always work out. The Niners moved heaven and earth to draft Stud Safety Rayan Duqmaq who played up to the billing, and had a game in the Super Bowl with 6 tackles, a tackle for loss, and an Interception. Jimmy G played decent but missed some big throws, early in the game. He finished with 198yards, 2 touchdowns, and a interception. He was pressured all night being sacked 5 times, but still made big plays when needed. His Favorite target was Star Tightend George Kittle, who gragged 6 catches for 90yards, and 2 touchdowns. Tevin Coleman rushed 22 times for 118yards, and 1 TD but did not have a signature back breaking run that he is known for. The Niners are strong in the secondary but were incapable of stopping the Jaguars run. With Deforrest Buckner, Kwon Alexander, Nick Bosa, Dee Ford, and Fred Warner The Niners could not have gameplanned for that. The Niners never truly committed in stopping leonard Fournette, and in the end that is what cost them.†

†††††††††††††††††

The Jacksonville Jaguars were coached by ThePacificCowboy who has won his first Super Bowl in the NFASL.† Congratulations on winning Super Bowl XXXI, and hanging your first banner in the Hall of Champions!

††††††††††††††††††††††††††† Lets have a conversation with Super Bowl XXXI winner Coach ThePacificCowboy:

  • You won Super Bowl XXXI, what was your gameplan going in?

My Gameplan was to stop the big passing plays. Make him grind out drives. On offense it was find the 1-1 matchups, and run to the weakside..

  • Nick Foles did not start for a majority of the season, what compelled you to give him the Keys to the Offense?

Nick foles was simply more accurate in the Clutch.† The Playoffs require big perfromances, by clutch players.

  • Leonard Fournette won the Super Bowl MVP, how did he d it?

Fournette turned it on late in the season. Give all the credit to the offensive line creating 1-1 match ups in the secondary for Fournette.

  • You joined the league January 15th, 2017 and now you have won your first Championship how does it feel?

Feels awesome, ive been close time and time again, to do it as the 6th seed, and run through some of the best staple of players in the playoff run made it that much more sweeter.

  • The Jacksonville Jaguars are the Super Bowl XXXI Champions, the floor is yours. Is there anything you want to say to the rest of the league?

How mybutt taste!

Commissioner Newmoons thoughts:

†††††† As always let me be the first to say congratulations on your Super Bowl win, as just like the Hall of Champions says whether it's war, a sport, spades, and yes even a videogame accomplishing what you set out to do means something. In this Second season we replaced a few people along the way, and one that I thought would be a lifer (criticalnews), however the old saying goes everything isn't for everyone. However the group we have now I think is competitive, and listens for the most part. Some of the New members are papalon24, Tybond22, Lizw2007, Maddenrox9, and Spyversusspy. Season II has been pretty much Drama free, and honestly if a Videogame isn't fun what's the F-ing Point. I will die saying that, so if Drama, and complaining is your cup of tea, take that poo to England. We Drink Coffee, love big breasted women, drive fast Cars, and love Football! This is America! God Bless her! 31 seasons that started nearly 8 years ago on the Xbox360 is a long way for the league to come. It's seen it's ups, and downs for certain, but definitely more ups. Special Thanks to Justin (Just Dicks) Downs for investing in Daddy leagues, it's made my life a lot easier. Also zero special thanks to Active-_Shooter my other Commissioner who is about as useless as a fully functioning Air Conditioner in Antartica. .

†††††††

††† The Jacksonville Jaguars will be enshrined into the Hall of Champions to be ever remembered as the Team that won Super Bowl XXXI, On October 21st, of our Lord 2019.† The Jacksonville Jaguars were 10-6 on the season, under the Tutelage of coach ThePacificCowboy, whom has hung his 1st banner. Once again Congratulations on your Super Bowl Victory! As always this has been a Sim Athletics Network Production. It's been grand, God Bless you all, and see you Next season.

NFASL Playoffs

The†NFASL Playoffs are here! The Baltimore Ravens are the Defending Super Bowl Champs, and are in prime position to go back to back. Coach Tommanowns has 5, and would love to make it 6.† Saquon Barkley won the Leagues MVP with a record breaking season, with Lamar Jackson not far behind in the voting. JD's 1st Qtr All Pro Team

††††††††† With 1 quarter of the season in the books, these are the players who have started out the season on fire, and have made it to my All Pro Team at least So far. Pat Mahomes. Lamar Jackson, Tyree Jackson, Deshaun Watson, and Jimmy G carried their teams to 4-0 starts. You can be sure they will be watching each others performances as they make a run at the mvp trophy. Melvin Gordon has been running like a man possessed so far this season averaging over 8 yards per carry. Rookie WR Jimmy Reagor out of TCU is putting the league on notice so far this year, interesting to see if he can keep this up.This is the 31st season of the NFASL, and the Competetion has never been more fierce. That means in order for teams to succeed, the best players of any particular franchise will have to step up, and be just that, Franchise players. It's still early in the year, and these players on my All Pro team can change as we move on through the year. We will check back in at Week 8 the halfway point, and see who rose to the top, or who failed under the weight of expectations.

In the†NFASL Super Bowl XXX, a banner season in the National Football All Simulation League The Baltimore Ravens separated themselves from the rest of the pack defeating the New Orleans Saints 29-6. In a game where no offensive Touchdowns were scored it was the Ravens Defense that lead the day. The Ravens Defense was simply lockdown bringing up past images of Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs. Instead it was Earl Thomas III, Patrick Onwuasor, and Anthony Averett forcing fumbles, and intercepting Passes and scoring. They held a all time great Drew Brees to his worst game in his career as he only threw for 137yards, zero Touchdowns, 5 interceptions , 10/19 passing for 52%, and a low 36.4 Total Quarterback Rating.†

† On Offense the Ravens gameplan was game managing as they were very precise with their passes, and gave a heavy dose of Mark Ingram III to salt the Game away. When your Defense gives you 14 points not playing to that strength would have been a major mistake. Lamar Jackson was efficient only throwing for 111 yards, however he was 9/11 with a 81% completion percentage. Mark Ingram was the work horse as he carried the ball 21 times for 85 yards, 4.0 yards per carry. With Justice Hill carrying it 4 times for 22yards, and Lamar Jackson rushing 4 times for 13 yards.†† A strong Running game, and a stout Defense......Where have I heard that before. That Gameplan took the ball away from the Saints, that is when they weren't giving it away as the Ravens held the ball for 22:11 to the Saints 13:43.†

The Saints were awful in the Super Bowl as it seemed as though they did not gameplan at all for this Ravens team. There is an old saying that goes more games are lost than won, and nothing is more apropros than in this game. The Saints had more Yardage than the Ravens, and Alvin Kamara was running like a man possessed 11 carries, 57yards with a 5.2 yards per Carry. The Saints defense also limited the big plays of the Ravens players as they bottled up Lamar Jackson holding him to 13 yards rushing, and sacking him 4 times. They also nullified Their big play receiver Hollywood Brown who has been giving opposing secondaries fits with his speed to 4 cathces for 30yards.† It seemed as though the Saints were predetermined before the game to feature Drew Brees no matter what, and that truly in the end cost them. Some games you have to win dirty, 3-0, 6-3, etc.... a Win is a win, and if you win by 100, or 1 it only counts as 1 especially in the Super Bowl.†

†††††††††††††††††

The Baltimore Ravens were coached by Tommanowns, who has cemented himself as the best in the Leagues History. G.O.A.T.† Congratulations on winning Super Bowl XXX, and hanging your fifth banner in the Hall of Champions!

††††††††††††††††††††††††††† Lets have a conversation with Super Bowl XXX winner Coach Tommanowns:

  • You won Super Bowl XXX, what was your gameplan going in?

My Gameplan was the same throughout the playoffs. Play turnover free ball offensively, and limit big plays defensively.

  • The Defense Came up big, can you talk about those players who are now household names.

The Defense was fast, and I really focused on baiting opposing Quarterbacks into making bad throws, that looked liked easy throws. The Secondary was key because they could lock up receivers in man, and when I called zone my linebackers speed really showed up all over the field.

  • You have now won 5 Championships the most of any member in the NFASL. How does this one compare to the other 4?

I Try to learn something from every ring, and this one really felt refreshing because many people felt that I was done, myself included. I really was starting to to buy into that talk until Roffman got kicked to be completely honest!

  • You are the Madden Season XXX Champion, a banner season. The Floor is yours is there anything you wan to say to the rest of the league?

What the league should know is that if you're passionate about something, pursue it, and invest time into it. Keep Grinding, and never be satisfied.

††††††††††††† ††††††††††††††††††

Commissioner Newmoons thoughts:

†††††† Tommanowns is one of the more Senior members in the league, and has been with me since near the beginning of the creation of the NFASL. So Let me be the first to say congratulations! Thomas Jones IV has posted his 5th Championship in the NFASL which is no easy task. Also to do it on another Banner Season really makes you wonder is Fate really a thing. He has already won Super Bowls X, XX, and now XXX.... So you tell me I'm wrong. It's funny that he said two things in his interview about being passionate, and the removal of Roffman. I have, and will always say I love the league, and no man is above it. It's a Videogame I get it, however being passionate in what you do can make all the difference. I've seen guys put their hard earned money into the league. Kaliko_420, Jady_Tru, and I have been paying for this website for over 8 years now. I only say that to not for accolades, or a pat on the back, but for how guys get removed from the league (Roffman). I'm not the person who removes them, members literally remove themselves. In 2 years we will be at the 10 year Anniversary of the NFASL nearly a 1/4 of my life running this league. Am I perfect, No. But who is? However I am fair if anything, and before I start throwing people from the league indiscriminately I quietly send a Text message, or a Direct message asking you to correct whatever issue has come up. There are 32 people in the league each one a cog in the wheel, that makes this league the best on the planet. So the rules that you may disagree with, are not in place to satisfy your, or my sensibilities as I, or you are 1/32. The rules are in place for a reason, and either we all adhere to them, or what's the point of a rule in the first place.

†††††††

††† The Baltimore Ravens will be enshrined into the Hall of Champions to be ever remembered as the Team that won Super Bowl XXX, On September 13th, of our Lord 2019.† The Baltimore Ravens were 13-3 on the season, under the Tutelage of coach Tommanowns, whom has hung his 5th banner. Once again Congratulations on your Super Bowl Victory! As always this has been a Sim Athletics Network Production. It's been grand, God Bless you all, and see you Next season.

Welcome to the National Football ALL Simulation League (NFASL). With the Official Roster update mere moments away we here in the NFASL will be moving the league to another franchise with updated Rosters. We started the league so early that 100's of moves have been made in the span, and teams have entirely changed from what we started with IE; Dolphins, Seahawks, Texans, etc..... What that means for the league is we now have to transition from the league we are in now, to the new one that will be created as soon as EA puts out the rosters.† With the creation of the league there are several things that we will have to do immediately so that the change over doesn't span several days. and simulate the winning teams that won their weeks games. IE: I will copy down every teams win, and loss record and then Simulate it in the new league. We are gunning for 5 plus seasons this edition of Madden, and any delay to that process will be looked upon grimly. In any regard you should take this time to refresh ourselves of the league rules, and what is required from you within this league. If you Click on the link http://nfasl.spruz.com/rules.htm here it will take you to the rules page. I know that we have a ton of people returning as we have a solid group of players, but it can't hurt to make sure you are crystal clear on the rules. Especially since the rules page has been updated, and major changes to a few rules, IE: 4th down, Trades, as well as playcalling rules We play 1 game every 3 days, so the moment we advance make sure you text your opponent with your availability. If we get all our games played before the 3rd day we will advance to the next Week, so it kinda behooves all league members to play their games as quickly as possible. list of things to do the moment you join the league:

  1. Join League
  2. Cut your roster down to the 53 man roster
  3. Set your lineup
  4. If you are in the free agency list pick your player

† Once all members have joined the league, and set their rosters I will sim the league with the complete wins and losses to where we are now, which is week 16. At this point we will pause the league for this purpose

  • Sign your own teams free agents
  • You will have 3 chances in week 16, Week 17, and final resign period after Super Bowl.

†If you have any questions you can direct them toward me, or the two Co-Commissioners Active-_Shooter (NFC Commish), Jady_Tru (AFC Commish) in the Groupme Chat, as we will be happy to answer them as soon as we can. Good Luck to all of you in the coming seasons.

..

Each one of us makes the league a better place by taking the league seriously. Play to win, but not at all cost. I'll guarantee you this if you win it all nothing in your life changes, so why not just play for the Love!†† Newmoon.
