Rams Get Rolling on the Ground!

Agoura Hills, CA. In the NFASL Game of the Week 5, The Los Angeles Rams steppped into a positive direction defeating the Baltimore Ravens 10-3. The Rams after a tumultous start to the Season going 0-3 out of the gate the Rams have now won 2 games in a row, and have got back to what they have done well in the past. That is give the Ball to All Pro Back Todd Gurley II, and playing shut down defense. That formula has worked for years in the NFL, and has a championship Pedigree behind it. The Rams tried it the 21st century way, and have not had the success that many believe a team with this much talent should have. Well that might have just changed as Gurley finished with 24 carries for 150yards, and a touchdown. Check one. The Rams then played stellar defense behind 2 interceptions of Baltimore Quarterback Lamar Jackson, and shutting down the Baltimore Offense to just 3 points. Check two.

The Baltimore Ravens will be kicking themselves when they look at the film of this game as they were very unbalanced in their approach to this game. Lamar Jackson the Teams quarterback had the most carries on the team with 4, and checked the Ball down to Chris Thompson to the tune of 8 catches and 58 yards in the loss. With the Ravens unable to make the big play the Rams were able to control the clock having the ball for 22:48, to 13:12 in time of possession.

The Baltimore Ravens will look to get back on track in week 7 against a tough as nails AFC South opponent the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Los Angeles Rams will look to keep the streak going, making it 3 in a row, and moving their record to .500 in their next game against their rival the Arizona Cardinals.   Until Next time this has been a Sim Athletics Network Production.
